NATIVE PLANT COLLECTION

Manzanita, lupine, wild strawberry, yarrow, blue flax…a wealth of nursery darlings grows in abundance in the state forests of Oregon, and it’s entirely legal to carefully collect them from the wild to plant in your own garden.

Join us to collect native plants in Tillamook State Forest.

With a naturalist as our guide, we will collect native plants, learning how to respectfully harvest and transplant them into our own backyards. Once our truck is packed with carefully wrapped specimens, enjoy a five-wine flight paired with a beautifully appointed tailgate picnic of seasonal provisions.

FORAGING IN THE NORTHWEST FOREST

The Pacific Northwest’s misty weather and shady forests makes it one of the best places to hunt for wild, edible mushrooms.

Join us for a guided walk through the forest to hunt for these culinary treasures.

We will cover the basics of mushroom identification, proper foraging technique, and how to prepare and preserve edible mushrooms. Once our treasure hunt is complete, enjoy a five-wine flight paired with a beautifully appointed tailgate picnic of seasonal provisions.
