Thanksgiving Tastings

2017 Futures Tasting Series
During the weekends before and after Thanksgiving, we are hosting barrel tastings of our 2017 future release. Join us at an intimate, seated tasting lead by winemaker Maggie Harrison. The tasting will be accompanied by seasonal bites from our chef, Timothy Wastell. Qualifying pre-orders will be available at a 15% discount. Barley & Vine Open House 
While there are limited seatings for our future tastings, please join us at Barley and Vine Tavern in Newberg for a pop-up open house. Stop by any time, order lunch at the tasting table if you choose, grab some bottles for your holiday table and raid Maggie’s personal cellar (there will be a full chalkboard of treasures available to taste!) We can’t wait to see you there. Hang out as long as you like, the doors and wines will be open all day.

Tastings are held in the barrel room at our winery located at 979 SW Alder Street, Dundee OR 97115. Reserve your seat at our table online or feel free to contact us for personal assistance. Please note that during Harvest (August 1st through November 15th) tastings will be moved to our pop-up location in the Barley and Vine Tavern at 408 East 1st Street, Newberg, OR 97132. The Core Tasting (10AM and 4PM):
 A focused tasting featuring a rotating selection of Antica Terra and Lillian wines served with house-made hen liver and foie gras terrine.

Barley and Vine Pop Up

The Collective Tasting (1PM):  A comprehensive tasting featuring our current release and a rotating selection of inspirational bottlings from around the world. The tasting can cover a vast range; from grower Champagne and Grand Cru Burgundy, to esoteric bottlings made from rare, indigenous grapes and from winemakers who employ innovative techniques that advance the limit of flavor. We serve the wines from a state of the art Enomatic Wine System where they are preserved under surgical grade argon. Wines are served alongside Royal White Sturgeon Osetra, house-made hen liver and foie gras terrine, a selection of cheeses curated by Steve Jones of Portland’s Cheese Bar and Alma chocolates.

Barley and Vine Pop Up

For wine purchases in either tasting of three or more bottles, shipping is with our compliments and for every six bottles purchased, allow us to put one tasting fee towards your enjoyment of them

Caviar Service:
During each tasting there is the opportunity to add an additional caviar course. We are excited to be offering Royal White Sturgeon Osetra. Accompaniments include house made crème fraiche, chives and potato chips. If you are interested in this service please specify in your reservation notes. 
$70 per 1oz serving

Cellar Selections: During each tasting there is also the opportunity to taste additional wines; true rarities. Here you will find selections from our personal cellar: incredibly rare and with perfect provenance. We are as excited to share them with you as we are to drink them ourselves!
